Catlan McClelland
Visiting Assistant Professor of Screenwriting
Biography
While attending Rhode Island School of Design, Catlan made moody experimental films. After graduating from art school he took the natural next step and became a defense contractor. In the Green Zone in Baghdad, Catlan found time between rocket attacks to play chess and pen screenplays. He then migrated to an even more dangerous place: Los Angeles.
These days, he writes dark features, shops TV pilots around Tinseltown, and teaches his students the satisfaction of fighting through the pain. He is represented by Rick Berg at Code Entertainment.
